Television sets are more than just technological, functional products. They play an important role in how people live their lives and design their homes. The TV as an object stands for emotional intimacy in an era of fragmentation and content dissemination. How do you design media products that enhance our homes and our daily lives?

TP Vision’s Chief Designer Rod White is a world-class product designer, leading Design Philosophy for Philips TV & Sound. Rod will discuss his view on design and technology – and will give us an idea of the future of television.

In addition, the curator team at the ‘Nederlands Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid’, will share highlights from the archives of television in Dutch homes.
